      The latest EWR game, EWR 4.0, was announced in early June 2003. It is to be released before the end of August 2003, although no specific date will be announced until much nearer the time. Below is a list of the majority of the new features, although some minor features have been left off for surprise value.


      - Updated contract system, allowing people to work for multiple promotions
      - Optional pictures for wrestlers, staff, and promotions
      - Brand new Japanese section, where wrestlers can tour with one of 11 Japanese promotions
      - Promotion battle feature, which allows promotions to clash
      - Revamped match ratings, taking into account wrestler's secondary and tertiary statistics, similar styles, style clashes, etc
      - Advance bidding, which allows you to steal other workers under written contract
      - Brand new interaction - wrestlers suggest feuds, complain about other workers, and hold down opponents
      Additional matches, including 5vs5 Survivor Series and War Games (4vs4 and 5vs5)
      - Additional match finishes, match aftermaths, and match purposes
      - Updated Events section - hold PPV's on the day of your choice, and also accurate simulation of TNA's weekly PPV model
      Three seperate ticket prices - PPV, large event, and house show
      - Brand new training camp, which graduates random workers to your roster each year
      Brand new incidents
      - TheSmartMarks.com's The Dames is now in as the fourth match reporter, with text written by the man himself
      - Updated match reports, with a unique format for each person
      - Updated stats, allowing you to choose the nationality of each wrestler
      - Updated promotions, allowing you to choose where in North America they are based
      - Increased title histories from 5 previous holders to 10
      - Multiple stables per wrestler
      - Change your promotion's name during the game
      - Choose your own promotion-specific Internet banner for "The Battleground" site
      - Shortlist search - one button press brings up your shortlisted workers on the Other Workers screen, saving a lot of searching time
      - View merchandise sales, percentage per wrestler, to see who is selling the most
      - Customizable interface, allowing the user to easily choose the background, button colours, etc
      - Ultra-robust new file handling, meaning converting data from 3.0 to 4.0 is fool proof
      All errors reported from 3.0 have been fixed
